[Asriel doesn't answer back, but with that invitation, he picks himself up and starts to head towards Mettaton's house. He leaves a note for Frisk and Chara, just to let them know he didn't wander off and die.

When he gets to Mettaton's house, he doesn't knock... but he does call out once he's inside.]

Mettaton...?

[Asriel's there, and he... looks okay. Maybe looks like he's been crying.]

[Mettaton is, surprisingly, in the kitchen. However, upon hearing Asriel, he moves to the door, a mug of tea in his gloved hands.

Tea...it's warm and nice, and it's got to make a kid feel better, right?]

I made this for you--maybe I made it too fast, but you didn't respond, so I...wasn't sure if I could make it in time.

[Mettaton sounds a little more sober than usual, his words soft and sincere.]

Of course, you needn't drink it, but...I thought it best to offer.

[Asriel takes the drink before going to find a place to sit. Once he's settled, he takes a sip.

[He doesn't trust anyone to treat Asriel right except for the people he trusts--and the one he doesn't, but Chara is of course Asriel's sibling and deserves the proper deference.]
