He can finally have his happy ending? He didn't have to be punished anymore, he can finally move on. He can finally have this - a chance to go home and have a family again and not be alone anymore.

He feels a deep-seated compunction to make sure everything's alright with the small boss monster and to make sure he's still there but...somehow he feels as if he had taken it too far.

So he simply closes out his MID, and tries to remain optimistic for his own sake.
