IT IS COMFORTING TO HAVE A FRIEND THOUGH!
[And at this point, Asriel's found himself firmly in the best friend position, though Mettaton would never say it given that Alphys would always be his best friend off the ship. If...if Alphys isn't here though, then it was pretty much between Asriel and Frisk simply for being present. And as fond as MTT is of the little human, he and Asriel have a little more even footing.]
