[Asriel's still reeling, enough that he barely notices that Mettaton is seeing someone else. He rubs at his eyes quickly, giving a quick glance at his hands to see if they were bloody - they weren't, thankfully. His disk isn't out, isn't covered in blood, and Mettaton isn't...]

[Mettaton takes hold of Asriel's hand, gripping it tightly. They were going to get through this for now.

He was running from place to place, just trying to avoid the sound of gunfire. Trying to keep himself from freezing up in panicked terror at the sight of kill squads, forcing himself to keep moving although with each gunshot it feels like he's back at the village again. The terror is raw, and he can't even let himself slow down long enough to feel it - because if he does, he dies.

[Asriel hesitates before responding, feeling suddenly protective over the disk on his back. What does his identity disk have to do with anything?

[When Asriel gets to the medical wing, he’ll find Alan standing off to the side, out of view of the main corridor. He gives Asriel a smile upon seeing him, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes. He looks distracted, almost lost in thought.]
